I used to edit pictures on photoshop, replacing a celebrity's face with my or my cousin's face. I also used an app where you upload your picture and choose one of their short clips or gifs and be the character in a video. I can't remember what it's called now.

Recently, I saw these TikTok videos of people showing moving pictures of their grandparents or great grandparents, and I thought why not do it to mine. I don't have any videos of them. I only have pictures of my grandparents on my mother's side. I'll have to ask my father's side if they have pictures of my grandparents.

Using deepfake, which is the manipulation of image or video where you replace the person in the existing media with someone else, I was able to create videos of my grandmother and grandfather. My mother told me that she had goosebumps when she saw the videos as it was exactly how she remembered the way they had smile, especially her father.

Some people might get upset about it, or feel scared, but I think it is a great way to see and remember them.
