Wat Pho, is a Buddhist temple in Phra Nakhon districtBangkokThailand. It is located in the Rattanakosin district directly adjacent to the Grand Palace. Known also as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, its official name is Wat Phra Chettuphon Wimon Mangkhlaram Ratchaworamahawihan. The Buddha is 15 metres high and 43 metres long. His right arm is supporting his head which has tight curls. 


The walls of the temple are covered in painting, you'll be in awe.


The Buddha's foot is about 3 metres high and 4.5 metres long which is covered by mother-of-pearl. They are divided into 108 panels represneting the auspicious characteristics of Buddha.

There are 108 of this bronze bowls indicating the 108 auspicious characters of Buddha.
Buddhists put some coin to each bronze bowls.










Lots of Buddhas around the temple and the black one is the most unique.
