Photoshop: Coin (Tutorial)

It's been a while since I posted Photoshop Tutorials.
This is about making your coin. :) It took me a long time just to get the desired texture and finish. Well it's just according to my opinion. Hehe. I don't know if you like it; the way it looks, the finished product.
Some made it the easiest and the quickest way but I'm not sure if mine is the easiest and quicker to make.

Ok. Here it is. This is inspired from 'Blah Blah Blog'.

1. Create a circle using Shape Tool, Fill with colour gray, apply Inner Shadow, and Bevel and Emboss to get the edges.

2. Add a texture. Adjust the Blending Mode to get the desired result. Here, I set to 82% Opacity and 77% Fill.

3. Using the Text Tool, write the desired 'value' of the coin. Here, I used '7'. Then add Bevel and Emboss.

4. Using 'Pen Tool', create a circle and type whatever you desire. I typed 'Democratic Colony of Blah Blah Blog'. When you;re done typing, hit enter. Then add Bevel and Emboss again.

5. Use the same effect for the '2011', 'Anonymous C' and 'Hen'.

6. Choose your picture. Convert it to grayscale.

7. Apply emboss effect. Adjust the amount and angle.
8. And this is it. :)

What do you think? Please leave comments or suggestions. Thanks!!
