Camiguin: A Good Cheap Trip (2)

Day 2: Cycling Around the Island 
During breakfast, Roy was full of excitement about the idea of going around the island. After deciding on bicycles, we could get the day started.



We headed to ‘Katibawasan Falls’. It was so challenging because it was uphill. We had a rest in the shade of the coconut palms.



At noon, we went to the ‘White Island’. We spent 200PhP for our lunch. We had grilled fish and squid, rice and a bottle of Coke. It was the freshest, tastiest, most reasonably priced seafood lunch. It was just we needed to continue our cycling.  



Going back to the mainland, we continued toward the ‘Stations of the Cross’. Faced with same uphill challenge, we abandoned the bikes and walked up the mountain.






Even though we we’re tired, we were rewarded for our efforts by the sight of the following:








By that time, it was already getting late and our stomachs started to instruct us on where to go. So we headed back to the resort. After, we went to ‘Ardent Hot Spring’ to soak our weary bodies.
